Most Genmaicha is made with inexpensive tea leaves from the second or third harvest, which can have a sharper, more bitter taste. But ours is different. This Genmaicha is crafted using first harvest Kabuse Yabukita—shade-grown tea leaves with enriched mildness—blended with organic roasted rice.
